New Custom built Schwinn 27.5 XC Full Suspension

$600 USD
This is a custom frame-up build using some good condition parts-bin components as well as brand-new components. Size medium. 27.5 wheels. 100mm suspension travel. The Schwinn frame (bike originally retailed for $500) is in excellent conditions and the brakes, trim, and drivetrain are new, so for all intents and purposes, it'll feel, look, and ride like a new bike. I'm a seasoned tech and bike rider, and I do this as a side business; everything is selected for compatibility and properly tuned. It's ready to ride. If you want to try mountain biking or step up from a recreational hardtail, this is the proper bike to do it on. It has the powerful hydraulic brakes to slow steeper descents, wide-range 46tooth Shimano Deore m5100 1x11 speed gearing to climb hills, and front and rear suspension to track better through rough terrain. Maxxis Ardent tires. The 1x11 drivetrain, clutch derailleur, and narrow-wide chainring eliminates chain drop, slap and noise. This comes under the price of a bike shop hardtail like a Giant Talon or Trek Marlin and it will perform better over rough terrain and help you progress faster. NEW: cranks, chainring, chain, cassette, shifter, cables+housing, hydraulic brakes, suspension fork, tektro 180 160mm rotors, handlebars, stem, grips, pedals, wheels, tires and seat. Everything but the frame is NEW. Free aluminum Giant core pedals ($40), bottle cage, seat bag, chain guide, mudguard, inner tube, bell, multitool, patch kit, and blue accent pieces. From all my time working in shops, I've always found that new and returning riders are gonna want some swag but are sometimes tapped out from buying a bike so I've included a bunch. $600 firm

New Custom Build Upgraded Mongoose Trail 29er Bike

$1300 USD
New custom build off a new Mongoose Salvo Sport 29er trail bike. 16” frame for rider 5’4” to 5’8”. I build custom bikes and refurbish old ones as a business and my aim with this particular build was to get a rider the most bang for buck for under the $1500 price point. On this bike which retails normally (not upgraded) for $1499, I’ve upgraded the drivetrain, the tires, the brakes, the rotors , the brakes, the dropper post, the suspension fork, the front wheel, the pedals Top features include air suspension front and rear, tubeless rims and tires, Shimano 12 speed drivetrain, and a 120mm dropper seat post. Tech Specs: -boost 141mm Horst link frame (148 compatible) -Rockshox recon 120mm fork Xfusion 110mm shock -WTB i30 tubeless wheels w/ Continental mountain king 29x2.4 tires -TranzX 125mm dropper seat post -Meroca 4-piston hydraulic brakes with sram centerline 203mm F and 180mm R rotors -Shimano Deore/SLX 12 spd drivetrain and crankset with hollow spindle and hollow crank arms (weight savings) -Venzo tiawan-made aluminum flat pedals w/ sealed bearings, replaceable pins, and wide+thin platform So you’re shopping for a mid-tier mountain bike; Why get this mongoose over a similarly priced Giant etc.? Firstly the suspension layout (Horst link/4-bar) has a better pedaling platform than a linkage single pivot like the Giant Stance and unlike the Stance, the frame has boost wheel spacing by removing a few spacers thereby opening up more replacement and upgrade options. Secondly, this bike has much better stopping power with larger rotors and 4-piston brakes. Why my bikes over a new or used? New bikes are expensive and sales tax on a high dollar purchase can be painful. I instead cover the sales tax on all my bikes at year end. With used bikes, some can be a good deal but they’re a huge monetary risk as most mountain bikers are abusive toward their bikes (hey me too), so replacement parts and tuning will eliminate any money savings and cost you time and undue stress. $1300 firm. (Still under msrp!) If you are on a stricter budget, I do have the same bike stock I’m selling too for $900. It has 2 piston hydraulic brakes, 160mm rotors, a quick release coil fork , 2x9 Shimano Acera drivetrain, Kenda wire-bead tires, plastic pedals, and a rigid seatpost. Still better than a recreational hardtail for the same price. Thanks for looking and please check out my other items and inquire about tuneups, tech services, and upgrades. Guaranteed to beat local shop rates!

New Custom Mongoose Switchback 12spd Thru-Axles

$1150 USD
This is an upgraded new Mongoose Switchback 3 trail Hardtail MTB. 16” frame will fit riders 5’3” to 5’7” (most smalls are 15”). 27.5 wheels and 120mm of front suspension. This is a great mountain bike to get into mid to more difficult trail riding for a great price well below what bike shops are offering. For the price of a recreational hardtail (like Giant Talon 1 or Trek Marlin 8) you’ll be getting slack trail geometry, tubeless wheels, Sram 12 speed drivetrain, thru axles, tapered head tube, and dropper post—all features that all starter hardtails lack. The base retail price of the bike is $1250, so already a discount here but I’ve also upgraded most of the parts. The brakes now have 203mm/180mm Sram rotors instead of the original 180mm/160mm unbranded ones it came with. The old microshift Advent 10 speed drivetrain has been upgraded to Sram SX Eagle 12speed. The tires have been replaced with tubeless ready ones that also have bigger knobs. I’ve also installed wider handlebars , replaced the slip on grips with SDG lock-ons, and replaced the stock plastic pedals with aluminum sealed-bearing pedals. Free accessories I’ve included: pedals, Supacaz bottle cage, sports water bottle, grips, spare tube and storage seat bag. Roughly $100 value. $1150 firm. Please check out my other listings and inquire about tuneups and services. Guaranteed lower rates than local shops. Tech Specs: -WTB i30 tubeless wheelset boost -e*thirteen 2.4 tubeless tires (they look and feel just like Maxxis Minion double-down) -SR Suntour XCM 120mm coil fork -Sram SX 12 speed drivetrain -TranzX dropper post and lever -Rush hydraulic brakes w/ tool free reach adjust
