Video: Remy Metailler Breaks Down the Brutus Road Gap for Alex Chapellier
In Vancouver, there are a few iconic features you can find on the trails, and the Brutus Road Gap is one of them. It really is a prefect drop and attracts people every week end.
It's fairly big and intimidating, and my friend Alexandre Chapellier has looked at it many times but never done it. When he told me he was considering doing it, I thought I could help him with the process. Before heading to Brutus we warmed up on some technical trail and a smaller drop, and then finished the day by a shuttle on some faster tracks.

At 4:03 he passes a danger no trespassing sign. The last time I was near there, trying to ride without any local guidance I almost passed one of those signs when I decided I should probably read that and then decided man I probably shouldn’t drop in here. So I disappointedly hiked up and found a different route down. I’ve always questioned that decision. Any insight anyone?

Dude makes a living with mountain bike content creation. It takes sponsors to do that. And honestly the product looks pretty great, I always sit my dirty ass on an old blanket when I get in the car
