Mar 27, 2024Cannondale Jekyll Team Carbon Medium (w/extras!)
$2200 USDThis bike is so fun to ride, climbs like a XC bike and descends with the confidence and stability of a DH rig. The 4 piston Magura brakes are awesome, great modulation and stopping power. One of the lightest enduro bikes I’ve found. Full rebuild on new frame in late 2020, well maintained with suspension services regularly.

• Wheel diameter: 27.5-inch
• Fork: Lefty SuperMax PBR 2.0, 160mm stroke, Carbon upper, aluminum lower, external rebound and lockout
• Shock (s, spare shock included): Dyad-2, Air-sprung, two chamber, remote-controlled pull-shock, 160mm or 95mm travel options with separate low-speed rebound controls. “Enduro” high-speed compression tune.
• Headset: Cannondale integrated 1.5-inch pressed-in type
• Bottom bracket: Cannondale BB30 press-in type
• Drivetrain: SRAM XX1 eleven-speed with Cannondale Hollowgram BB 30 aluminum crankset, 30-tooth XX1 chainring.
• Brakes: Magura MT7 four piston with 180mm rotors
• Wheels: WTB i45 Scrapers, DT Swiss 350 hubs, and DT Swiss Competition spokes. Also included is a set of Light-Bicycle.com carbon rims.
• Seatpost: RockShox Reverb Stealth dropper post, 100mm stroke.
• Weight: (Medium) 26.86 pounds (12.21kg)
• Size: medium (I’m 5’9” with a 32” inseam)
Pedals not included in sale.
2 sets of wheels, 2 rear shocks, original shorty stem and longer (80mm?) Thompson stem and Cannondale hi-pressure shock pump all included.
Shipping by buyer or meet-up in New-England, New York.

Feb 25, 2017Rocky Mountain Slayer SXC 70 Pricedrop
$960 USDIf this ad is up, the bike is still available! $960 or best offer! Buyer to pay for shipping if we can't find a reasonable meeting point. This is an 18" frame (medium) and fits me perfectly at 5'9" with a 32" inseam.
For sale is my Slayer SXC ("Super Cross Country") 70 from 2008. This bike is truly an all-mountain machine. I am the second owner, purchased in 2014, and have enjoyed every moment of ownership. This is the ride that made mountain biking a big part of my life. It can happily handle a 4 hr. epic ride, laps at the bike park or a day of lift served. It has that wonderful, slack Rocky Mountain feel...plush Fox DHX Air 4.0 rear and Fox Talus 36 fork factory serviced by Fox at the end of the 2015 season. Both the fork and shock are in good to excellent condition...stanchions are clean and scratch free. Reduce the fork travel to 100mm and engage the Fox ProPedal (flip of a switch) and it climbs like a goat. Point it downhill and it really shines, smoothing out brain-rattling trail. Smiling just thinking about it.
I have carefully cleaned and maintained the bike after every ride, but the bike has been enjoyed. The paint or clear-coat have a few chips which have been touched up. The cassette and chain are new in November 2016, new bottom bracket, seat and handlebars summer 2016, seat-post fall 2015, tires spring of 2016. It has what are widely thought to be the best brakes in the industry...Shimano XT with ICE pads on 180 mm rotors for crazy stopping power. All of the take-off parts are included in the sale (bars, seat-post, etc). I will also include Lezyne compact suspension pump in the sale, spare derailleur hanger (lived in my pack for rides) and an extra "just in case" front wheel.
I can meet at most major New England and NY cities to assist in delivery.
