Continental Expands Gravity Line With 13 New Tire Options
Enduro super soft on the front and DH super soft on the rear. Outside of hearing my front rim ping off a rock here and there, it's been a solid combo for hundreds of miles.

Head to Head: 2026 Santa Cruz Tallboy vs. 2020 Norco Optic
@Superboost: Our previous sales rep rode all the time. Our current sales rep is an absolute shredder. We also leaned on the Fluid to appeal to our customer base instead of dropping the brand, because they offer a lot of bike for the money. Now we have the Revolver in-store and the return to a Gen 2 style Optic should appeal to plenty of customers.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Care What Your Bike Looks Like?
Anyone who answered question one with an answer that leaned towards looks over performance better refrain from commenting in any future article about new product releases and how those products function. Arguably just as bad is sacrificing suspension performance for better looks. Ya'll are wild.

UPDATE: VHS Founder Alleges Corporate "Sabotage" in RideWrap & Dyedbro Dispute
@Jtstar: I don't disagree with you, but if I'm spending nearly $4k on a frame and likely upwards of $6k on a complete bike, why cheap out with 3m tape? If you're bike purchase was budget conscious to begin I would understand, but the budget argument is somewhat invalid if you're spending the numbers I mention on a frame/complete bike.

UPDATE: VHS Founder Alleges Corporate "Sabotage" in RideWrap & Dyedbro Dispute
If we can spend nearly $4k on a carbon frame we can spend $150 on a wrap to add additional protection, keep it looking close to new, and make it easier to clean. My take - if you spend money on "blinging" out your bike, you can spend money on a frame wrap which is arguably the better investment.

Review: The Forbidden Reya Throws Conventional XC Geometry Out the Window
@Vudu74: I wish we would see modular dropouts on more bikes. If I'm running a two-bike quiver, I want my long-travel bike long and balanced, and my XC rig short and playful. Conversely, if someone is running a one-bike-to-rule-them-all quiver, they could easily lengthen the rear center to make it more planted and balanced for all types of riding.

Review: The Forbidden Reya Throws Conventional XC Geometry Out the Window
@velomatic: Vudu74 used the term "trend", which I interpreted as a majority shift to long stays on XC/short travel trail bikes. We definitely want some options for tall riders, but I'd argue this is still a travel category of bikes where short stays still make sense. I'd argue that companies need to do a better job at making size specific stays, vs. just making the entire model lineup with long stays. Like it or hate it, 32" wheels in this category might be the best way forward for tall riders. I've heard some good feedback from tall people testing them.

Meh, not all 120mm bikes need a rear center this long. It's good to have options.
