Oct 13, 2020Santa Cruz Jackal // Unique Build
$2500 USD2019 Santa Cruz Jackal in battleship grey. Bike is built to the max and everything is covered with AMS protectors.
Cane Creek Helm Air 27.5 set to 100mm travel, Cane Creek 110 headset in gold, Truvative carbon bars, Renthal 50mm stem.
Sram carbon cranks, SRAM Guide RSG brake, Crank Brothers Joplin, lever actuated dropper post (Great for when you want to sit and pedal), WTB Silverado saddle.
Schwalbe Table Top tires (brand new), SRAM Rise 60 carbon front wheel, Mavic 823 rear with DT Swiss 240s hub.
*Front SRAM Guide RSG brake and Rotor also included but not installed.
Sadly, this bike does not get used.... ever. Excellent condition, never used as a DJ, just a pump track bike.
Located in Brevard, NC and would prefer to sell local but will ship anywhere in the US via bike flights and charge actual costs.
*This was recently sold and was returned as the buyer did not correctly read the sizing chart from Santa Cruz. The fork lowers got a nice scrape during return shipping and a light scratch on the down tube. I can replace the fork lowers or reduce the price accordingly. It is only cosmetic and the stanchions and performance are not affected.

Behind the Numbers: Ibis Ripmo V2
@Paddock22: Ripmo is a better pedaler. Rascal is far more composed in rowdy stuff.
I think the Rascal would be a home run with a two degree steeper seat tube angle. (I'm on a medium frame with something like 300mm of seat tube exposed).

Behind the Numbers: Ibis Ripmo V2
@dan-roberts: Kudos for admitting an error in the data and correcting the previous articles. Just creating this scenario to help us understand a bit of suspension kinematics is a huge undertaking and much appreciated.
Now can we get future calculations in units of burritos for length and potatoes for mass? The rest of us would like to play engineer as well but need some help.

Jan 8, 2020Two Yakima Frontloader Racks
$300 USDTwo Yakima Front Loader racks. Two months old with very little usage. These work with factory racks, round bars, or square bars.
I replaced two older High Rollers with these newer models recently and have decided to go a different direction for racks.
