Nils Amelinckx - Forbidden Bike Raffle in His Memory
Even if it is a pain. Please stick with it, it’s such a good cause.

Video: How To Ride Until You're 70 & Beyond with Ben Plenge from the Strength Factory
I’ve found making some investment in chiropractic and physio treatment has made big differences in posture and mobility and I wasn’t even that bad before. When you realise what you can gain, I found it very motivational.

Story Time: When Bikes Aren't the Answer
My condolences for your loss Henry and no doubt it took some bravery to write this. Articles and op Ed’s like this are something I really savour and would love to see more of, dare I suggest it might even be what some of the pinkbike staff enjoy more of?

Nils Amelinckx Passes Away After Courageous Battle with Cancer
Nils really was one of the good guys. As a good friend of mine and Nils put it, ‘Nils was what everyone wishes they would be in that terrible situation but in reality very few of us would be.’ Tragically Nils leaves a young family behind and to help them live well and have more adventures as Nils would have wanted, a GoFundMe page has been set up. I hope nobody minds me sharing the link but if you feel compelled to contribute, I know that it would be enormously appreciated. https://www.gofundme.com/f/nils-final-wishes

First Ride: Raaw Madonna V3 - Better Than Ever
@wildthingdh1: agreed v2 carbon spire. Paint missing from the factory but bit my tongue because I wanted to ride and it was during the Covid bike shortages. Persistent alignment issues. Fox x2’s failing repeatedly. But what finished it for me was the soft as fromage frame linkage bolts. They rounded out so easily just by looking at them. Drilling new bolts out a new frame was the final straw. Well actually no, the final fuck you moment was the fact the uk distributor had next to no stock of bolts so I had paid £75 to get two bolts from the USA in time for my holiday. Bought a geometron. Never looked back. Same could be said for Raaw I imagine. I’m done with plastic toy bikes.

Pinkbike Poll: What Are Your Must-Have Features On a New Mountain Bike?
Better quality control and manufacturing to avoid warranty issues. I have no faith left in the big brands. Since getting a Nicolai I’ve lost all interest in new bike reviews because everything else is just a poorly made plastic toy and I’ve found the best.

First Ride: SRAM's New Powertrain Motor
Disappointed with the lack of aggressive gatekeeping. What has pinkbike become?! I’ll start, What a total bastardisation of the greatest machine ever invented, the humble bicycle.

$525 GBP
2021 Rockshox Zeb Ultimate, 29”, 160mm travel, 44mm offset. Steerer is plenty long 194mm. For some reference I ran 30mm of spacers under my stem. Been on the bike for about a year. Had several lower leg services and a new pair of seals in that time. Excellent condition. Some slight paint scratches on the inside of the arch where mudhugger as rubber a little. Comes in original box with volume spacers, two fenders and two bottle of lower leg oil.
