2009 in pictures

I received my first DSLR camera for Christmas of 2008. Throughout 2009 I took photos of most aspects of mountain biking including Dirt Jumping, Downhill, Freeride and XC in various locations. These are some of may favourite shots from the Year 2009.At the start of the year I was getting to grips with my camera and getting to know the various setting such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO etc, these are some shots from the start of the year:




Further on in the year I started to play around with different angles and techniques.




In July I travelled to Morzine/Les Gets in France, a complete change of scenery meant I could get some scenic shots.



In the summer I acquired some new equipment like a flash and a new lens. These were put to good use at my local dirt jump spots 'Clyne' and 'Moos' and at some local street and park spots.











Towards the end of the season I went along to a couple of races including the NPS at Rheola and the Mini DH and the Forest of Dean.





At the end of the year I got the chance to shoot photos of local pinner Sion whitecross fo his new clothing sponsor 'Swiss and Swallow'.




To top off my first year of photography I had 2 photos published as an idnteti advert in Dirt magazine and MBUK.



I hope to keep lerning new things about photography in 2010 and hope it will be as good as 2009.
