Vanessa Christie Joins Specialized Bicycles as Women’s Brand Manager
Women's Specific has its place, the bikes are stocked with components that are going to make Female riders more comfortable on their bike, women's saddle, narrower bars, and lighter tuned shocks, and yes more feminine color schemes . Its not a marketing gimmick its giving a "specialized" bike to a growing demographic to make them more stoked on riding, theirs no need to be so cynical to a company that's putting an effort into getting more women into the sport we love.

Yeti SB66 Alloy Large XT Kit Fox Float 34 CDT Kit 150mm

$2800 USD
You are looking at a Yeti SB66 Alloy full suspension mountain bike. It is a Large with a 25.1" toptube. The frame is made from butted and shaped PURE hydroformed aluminum with full sealed bearings at all pivot locations, and a 1 1/8" to 1.5" tapered head tube. The rear shock is a Fox Float RP23 Kashima with adjustable rebound, compression, bottom-out, and ProPedal. It provides 6" of gnar eating travel. The fork is a Fox Float 34 CDT Fit Factory Series unit with 6" of travel, adjustable rebound, 3-positon CDT adjuster, and Trail Tune dial for the Train position. The headset is a Cane Creek Forty tapered sealed bearing unit. This frame is super strong and super smooth. The cockpit consists of an Easton Haven carbon fiber handlebar, Specialized Sip-Grips Lock-on grips, a Thomson Elite stem, a custom Yeti saddle with hollow chromoly rails, a Thomson Elite seatpost, and a Yeti QR seatpost collar. The drive train consists of a Shimano XT Shadow Plus 10 speed medium cage rear derailleur (with clutch), Shimano XT double front derailleur, Shimano XT Rapidfire 10 speed shifters, a Shimano XT double crankset, a Shimano SLX 11-36 tooth cassette, and a SRAM PC-1031 chain. The wheels are DT Swiss M1700 Splines . The front rim has been upgraded to a lighter XM401. IT has fresh DT Swiss spokes and DT Squarox nipples. The front tire is a Maxxis Ardent EXO 2.4" and the rear is a Maxxis Ardent 2.25". They are both mounted tubelessly with DT valve stems and Stan's sealant. The brakes are Shimano XTs with fresh 180mm front and rear Shimano SLX rotors. The Pedals are sealed bearing Wellgos. This bike is super fast and very fun to ride. It is also very comfortable due to the 6" of travel and stable geometry. Great for anything from Sunday shuttle runs with your friends to epic 5 hour back country trail rides. This is one of the most versatile and best pedaling long travel trail bikes on the market! It will pedal uphill like and XC bike and go downhill like a race sled! The bike was just in for a complete tune-up and cleaning. The grips, front rim, spokes, both rotors, and front pads were all replaced less than 5 rides ago. Everything is in great condition with the exception of the big chain ring. It could be replaced but still works fine. Buyer pays $100 for professional packaging and FedEx shipping & insurance (Continental US only). I accept PayPal only! Thanks for looking!

Custom Mongoose Pinn'r Foreman Medium

$2200 USD
This is an UPGRADED Mongoose Pinn’r Foreman downhill/freeride mountain bike! This custom bike retails for over $5000. It is a Medium with a 23.4 inch toptube. The frame features the FreeDrive Freeride design with sealed bearings are every pivot and a150mm Maxle rear thru-axle. The rear shock is a Rock Shox Vivid 5 with tunable compression, spring preload and adjustable beginning and ending rebound damping and provides 190mm (7.5”) of travel. It is very adjustable and rides like a dream. The bike comes complete with a Rock Shox Totem IS with 180mm of travel, adjustable rebound and high/low speed compression damping (I will include an extra spring for the fork). An integrated Gravity 1/DX Pro 1.5” sealed bearing headset handles the steering. The cockpit consists of an upgraded 30.5” Azonic World Force bar, Funn stem, SDH I-Beam seatpost, and a custom SDG/Mongoose Bel Air I-Beam saddle. The grips are Mongoose Lock-ons. The wheels have been upgraded to tubeless Mavic Deemax’s. These wheels are fast rolling and light but strong. The front tire is an Arrow Racing Ramped-Bite TL and the rear tire is a Maxxis Highroller 2.5”. Both are mounted tubelessly with Stan’s sealant. The drivetrain consists of SRAM X.9 Trigger shifters, GREEN SRAM X.0 rear derailleur, Truvativ Hammerschmidt FR 2-speed crankset and bottom bracket, GREEN SRAM PG-990 cassette, and a KMC K9 chain. The pedals are sealed bearing Funn Sol Jam Vipers. The brakes are upgraded Avid Code’s with 200mm front and rear rotors. It is an awesome freeride & DH bike. It is super efficient & pedals very well and tracks corners like it was on rails. Great for anything from Sunday at the races to hucking at your favorite freeride spot. This bike has been ridden less than 10 times. It is in almost like new condition. The only real sign of use is some paint loss on the left brake lever and the pedals. It does have a few small nick/chips from normal DH riding and transportation. Buyer pays $75 for professional packaging and FedEx shipping & insurance (Continental US only). I accept PayPal only! Please e-mail me with any questions! Thanks for looking!
