I'm not denying there's serious skill here but for me the chequered shirts doing whips and tricks is more what I want to see personally, yeah this is serious skills and impressive to see! That's the beauty of the world, different people different opinions!

My thought has always been the risk better equal the fun...To me that didn't look like much fun and it was probably really risky at times. Hey if you into scenery and trials like biking then this shits all day! But I love me some flannel whippers!

doing this front wheel stuff is one thing, but doing that on loose gravel is a whole different thing! Hats off!

@cydaps...very well said mate. This is more of what i would like to see and do but i fully respect all forms of riding.....The more variety of riding means more folk will get a bike and ride which can only help this awesome lifestyle and sport we do.I think this being a bit different to the normal stuff is great but i do like my "flannel whippers" fix too

describing dirt jumpers as "kid's with chequered shirts" is is pretty stereotypical if im honest.

Round a few of those corners is it really necessary to do those front wheelie turns? Surely it would be easier, more fun, faster and look better to stick your foot out and throw your bak end round?
Either way awesome video and sweet skills!

Max Schumann can do this with a regular mtb helmet, but I would wear a fullface because I'm sure I would smash my face every few turns
This guy has got skills!

Try it first then think about it. I thought the same at first but then I managed to join one of these guys for a ride. I thought I was going to die. It's not that easy! It's hard! Nobody really rides a bike on that mountain. It's steep and there is no defined trail! You find your own trail. Everybody I know doesn't even believe me that you can ride a mountain bike down Zugspitze until I show them this video of Max. If you don't like it then fine, but saying that there is no skill here is plain ignorant.
