Review: Milkit Booster - Tubeless Tire Inflation Reservoir
@vinay: you're right. I read the original article before the recall statement was added and did not see it when I came back to mention it.

Review: Milkit Booster - Tubeless Tire Inflation Reservoir
@RichardCunningham: They just recalled all units (at least in Germany, guessing also in Switzerland). Here a link, unfortunately in German: https://www.mtb-news.de/news/2018/06/14/rueckruf-milkit-tubeless-booster-produkte/

From the Top: Skratch Lab's Allen Lim - 'Sports Nutrition is About What You Do in Your Kitchen, Not on the Bike'
@slcFlahute: I am no skeptic. Floyd went from blowing up one day to turning out one of the most impressive one-day performances of all times in endurance sports (rocket fuel aided or not). From what I have read, Dr. Lim is one smart dude who happened to take part in that and it would be super intereting to read what the rocket fuel was (somehow I doubt "just" testosterone would have sufficed).

Shame they did not ask Dr. Lim what sort of "real food" was he giving Floyd, that must have been the real, real deal!

Video: Fast and Furious in Finale Ligure
@Milko3D: I think comparing a shuttle company to a bike park pricewise is unfair, as economies of scale will allow the latter to charge lower prices. That is specially the case with winter destinations that are now catering to bikes. The marginal cost for those guys of running a summer operation must be quite small. On the other hand, if you have 8 people in a shuttle that is 400 EUR a day. Subtract, say, 50 EUR for fuel and (just guessing) 100 EUR for the guide and the driver, then you are down to 250 EUR. Let us subtract another 50 EUR for maintenance and depreciation of the van, the guide's bike (?), taxes, etc. That is 200 EUR per day when the shuttle is running full. Then there are (again, guessing) some admin costs, given that they all belong to this "Finale Outdoor Resort" association, but let us disregard them. If a shuttle were to run full 300 days of the year (which I doubt, since there is a lot less riding in the summer) we are talking about 60,000 EUR a year. I honestly believe that is a best-case scenario, so it is not like anyone is getting rich by running a shuttle service. I guess that to each their own. We have been going twice a year to finale for the last 7-8 years and to us the price/fun ratio is great. I could not ride much more in a day anyways!

@Milko3D: I find 50 EUR to get shuttled the whole day a fair price, specially since it is also supporting the trail building.

Somehow odd that a Finale edit called "Fast and the Furious" does not have footage from the namesake trail!
