Canfield Bikes to Offer Guerrilla Gravity Service Parts
Nice work Canfield! This is what the industry needs right now, some helping hands and positive actions. We will get through this and in no time talk about this crash just as we did the 2008 crash. Lets all hope this is the bottom of the bell and not still on the way to the bottom.

Thought Experiment: How Good Could e-Bikes Get?
Ebikes have a place and like it or not are the fastest growing segment in cycling. I do see plenty of room for ebikes in transportation, daily errands and even on the trails (where they are LEGAL). Where I am concerned is in the areas of kids bikes. The youth of today is already facing serious health issues related to lack of activity. Adding ebikes to the mix will likely only make this issue worse as the data does not support the claim of "getting people into the sport". Yes it does get people on an Ebike, but they simply do not transfer to "Pedal" bikes as a result. Most of the data suggests that most people getting on an ebike were previously pedal bike riders, that are either getting back into the sport or adding another bike to their stable. I am NOT ANTI Ebike, however, we do have to address the materials needed to create the batteries, the power needed to charge them AND the appropriate way to either recycle or dispose of these batteries when they are dead or outdated. I do also feel that we have the same charging issues that we are facing with electric cars to consider. Are you going to be stoked when you asked to not charge your bike because the power grid is maxxed out?

Intense Release 26" Wheeled Alloy Dirt Jumper
Where did you pay 7k for a crap build on a Tracer 279? The Pro which is all XT is just under 7k and the S wihich is Ohlins, XO and Magura spec for just over 7K. What parts were crap?

Intense Release 26" Wheeled Alloy Dirt Jumper
@bman33: You are correct, the 951 series is available at Costco, not the Intense.

Lots there to discuss, Oh and the big S has something as well NO? Come on PB, lets stack the testing a bit deeper.

Welcome to the 2023 Value Bike Field Test
Seems like they are missing an opportunity with some bikes like the 951 series by INTENSE or the Fezzari and Commencal bikes. Pretty lame only having a few models in a value test.

Review: DVO Topaz 3 Air Shock
@EwanWhosearmy: Not saying this is the case in your "case", but if you keep your bike in a garage with temperature changes vs. maybe inside your home this can happen. Just the temp swings can cause pressure changes.

How to Not Feel Stupid Walking Into a Bike Shop
@Drewzellator: This is EXACTLY why some people shop online now!! Your job as a bike shop employee is to help your customer. If they knew everything then YOU are no longer needed, which means the shop is no longer needed!! YOUR job is to listen to your customers needs, actually LISTEN to what they want. You might love long travel Yetis, but your customer my want a mid travel Pivot (or whatever brand). You may want to sell what you like, but listening to your customer and making suggestions for them is YOUR JOB. By doing your job, you will gain a happy customer, and that means a repeat customer! That means you keep your job and the shop owners keep the shop. Remember that, because without it, everyone shops online!!!
