Surly Straggler 62cm XL with dyno light
$775 USD2025 Surly Straggler complete bike in excellent condition. The frameset and most of the parts have 100 miles.
Kasei dyno hub with a Herrmans light. This is a Euro light with a really nice beam pattern and a cutoff so you’re not blinding oncoming traffic.
Uncut steerer tube, good for tall guys. The saddle as shown is set at 32” from the bottom bracket as I ride it at 6’3”. 62cm or XL sized.
Drivetrain is an S ride 9 speed 11-32 and an Origin 8 110bcd crank, 44t.
Brakes are Bucklos mechanical. These are simple and work surprisingly well.
Wheels are wide 700c Ukai rims and new Specialized Sawtooth 700c x 42mm tires.
Some kind of swoopy handlebar, VP Vice pedals, and an old/classic Nashbar saddle.
Shipping isn’t my first choice but it’s possible. Much easier to meet if you live anywhere near central Ohio though.

Cotic BFE Max 29er 853 steel hardtail XL
$1100 USDThis is a first gen (2020-2024) Cotic BFE max trail hardtail. Despite the “beefy” name, the Reynolds 853 steel has a nice feel to it.

The fork is an X Fusion 29RC with 130mm of travel.
Wheels are new WTB/Novatech boost with Schwalbe Magic Mary and Big Betty tires.
The drivetrain is my favorite, Shimano Deore 10 speed (11-46) with an SLX 170mm crankset. The Deore gears are cheap, work well, and are lighter than 11 or 12 speed, and the SLX crank is the first to get hollow forged arms in Shimano’s lineup.
The dropper is a PNW Coast with 125mm of travel and a bit of suspension travel. Just enough to take the edge off of bumps. And the lever is a made in the US Wolf Tooth.
Brakes are Shimano MT-410 hydraulic discs.
There’s a very small dent in the left hand seat stay and a few minor paint chips, otherwise in very good condition.

Vitus Mythique full suspension 29er frame XL
$495 USD2021 Vitus Mythique 29er frame, size XL, in very good condition, just a few scuffs here and there. Includes a 150mm dropper seat post. This is a nice handling, smooth riding bike that would be a nice upgrade from a hardtail. Easy to work on: threaded bottom bracket, external cables, includes headset, dropper, and a spare derailer hanger.

Shimano Releases New $160 Drivetrain - With 8 Gears
If this had a clutch, it could be all I need. It would be nice to have double shift all the time.
