Gear Guide: 10 Summer Riding Kits for Men
PinkBike needs to make the environmental impact/ethical labor etc part of every review, if possible. Laughable some of large, established companies have nothing to offer. It ain't that hard, the smaller brands are doing it with much lower volume.

Kona Teases New Honzo ESD & Shonky Hardtails
@ibishreddin: I'm currently riding a Starling. Many other steel f/s options, mostly originating from the UK. Only time I think about the weight is putting it on my rack. Steel rides great in F/S form. Seems like a big miss by Niner (with their SIR/ROS history), Kona, Norco, Chromag, Transition and other North American brands to not release a modern steel f/s.

Missed opportunity for SRAM to make it 51.99 teeth and call it eagle dub.

Check Out: Manual Machines, Plastic Pedals, Body Armor, Camo Seats, & More
one of the few times when plastic > metal is true I had some nice high-end metal pedals and once I got the Oneup plastic pedals, it was game over. Have had the same pair for years, taken plenty of abuse, all I've had to do is tighten the axle bolts a few times. Pretty remarkable. As others mention, their biggest benefit is how much better they deal with rock strikes. Plus, I don't really care when they do get gouged on a rock because they're so much cheaper.

That kid's expression is 2020 summed up perfectly. I need to make that a gif for future use.

VW likes to troll North Americans with forbidden fruit. They rarely bring any of the good models over here. Pretty sure that is a VW Caddy.

3 New Hip Packs From Thule - Pond Beaver 2020
@takeiteasyridehard: Never had much luck with most hip packs, they always slide down. Went through three. Eventually I learned about the Source hipster pack, has the webbing, and works so much better. https://sourceoutdoor.com/en/hydration-packs/161-hipster-hydration-belt

First Look: Pipedream Cycles Adds a Bit of Bounce to the Moxie - Pond Beaver 2020
I recently got one, love it. Would think there would be someone on this side of the pond doing it. Think Chromag is working on one? Seems like a brand like Niner that had some steel hard tails could pull it off at scale.

First Look: Pipedream Cycles Adds a Bit of Bounce to the Moxie - Pond Beaver 2020
I just got my Starling Twist a few weeks ago. No issues getting it here in the US — and it arrived in days of being shipped. Ferrum Bikes in Las Vegas build some burly looking steel shred sleds.
