It is unfortunate that his participation in the riot was just glossed over. I was really disappointed that a member of our community, especially a high profile pro rider, was helping other lunatics toss some hard-working guy' s truck over. Lots of little groms look up to this guy and the message they got was that if you can rip, you are entitled to get away with nearly everything. Passion for riding aside, how well you ride is of little importance in the grand scheme of things. How you conduct yourself in everyday life including difficult riot type situations is of the upmost importance. Is Alex a douche?....um..yeah...definately. Can he redeem himself? Absolutely, but it won' t happen while ripping around on a bike. I would like to see him man up and do something important for his community to make amends.... I have way more respect for people who accept their mistakes and make a genuine attempt to redeem themselves, but people who sidestep their responsibility and ignore their errors like some petulant child, well I can' t really support them....
