Shimano Introduces Two New SPD Pedals
Anyone spent significant time on both the 9220s - the XT version of these 8220s - and the Oneup clip pedals? I need new pedals, and I'm waffling between these.

@kashimadaddy: It's marketing's job to make people excited about a bike. It's a reviewer's job to review a bike.

That Cardiel performance on KEXP absolutely rips, goddamn. The Die Spitz record is great too. Great recommendations.

BLM Opens 200 Miles of Trails in Moab to Class 1 E-Bikes
Especially odd since they're allowing them on the Raptor Route trails. Burro, Hazard, Jimmy Keen, and Kokopelli are in the Manti-La Sal NF, so they're unaffected by this.

Shimano Releases XT & Deore Di2 Wireless Drivetrains
I - and I'm sure a lot of other people - would happily accept a shorter battery life on an electronic shifting system with a stronger clutch and better chain damping. Battery life might necessarily be shorter due to having to overcome that strong clutch, but the chainslap on T Type is a lot more than I'd prefer, and it doesn't sound like this dual spring system is an improvement. I was holding out hope for an adjustable clutch in the Shimano option - the Shimano clutches always worked well enough for me so long as you maintained the clutch, and clutch services were easy - so this has been disappointing.

I don't even mind paying more for glasses that fit with great lenses. The thing that kills me is when brands won't sell you or replace small parts for a pair of glasses with a ~$300 USD list price. They're essentially saying that if you break a small part, the frames are trash and you should just buy a new pair. It's disappointing when brands don't encourage keeping their gear going year over year. Some brands seem to get it. Shimano and Tifosi, for instance, sell replacement nose pieces and temples for multiple frames.
