http://youtu.be/wVBq_aPmoa4
Here's a breakdown of what I payed for it all:
$900 US complete bike
$160 US shipping of bike
$200 Duty/ taxes @ FedEx
$130 Duty/ taxes @ FedEx for the free 2nd Wheelset (29er skinny wheels complete w/ x2 discs, 9spd cassette & QR skewers)
Upgrades:
- Kore wide 800mm DH riser bars (anodized red) $50
- Kona 70mm AM riser stem $45
- anodized red Lock-On grips $20
- Kore I-beam racing saddle $45

- Surley Nate 4.0" rear tire $125
- Kenda Small-Block 8's 29" tires (already mounted on the 2nd set of skinny 29er wheels) $90 pair
Total spent: just over $2000
This bike has only had 2 rides on it last winter & is pretty much brand new!!!
Surley fat tires are the perfect winter set up & were just mounted last week!
Everything is tuned & working great!
I just don't ride it enough & would rather it go to someone willing to put the kms in during the winter/ rest of the year!
Asking $1300 O.B.O.
I am located in Thornhill (Bayview/ Steeles area).
If you can find a better outfitted fat bike for the price, then buy it!
But dollar-for-dollar, this bike is the best deal in Ontario for a fat bike!!!
Especially since it comes with the 2nd complete Wheelset (29er skinny wheels with upgraded fresh new tires, discs, 9spd cassette & QR skewers)! This way you can swap out the fat wheels for the skinny 29er wheels in just minutes without any tools!!!
*** pics were taken the day I installed the brand new Surley Nate & Bud tires!
I can also include the original Vee Mission 26 x 4.0" tires (good for sand) & even the original 29 x 1.95" Innova tires from the skinny 2nd Wheelset!
Please email me with any questions.
Thanks

Jul 22, 2014Dartmoor Shine $1200 O.B.O. in GTA!!!
$1200 CAD2010 Dartmoor Shine $1200 O.B.O. in GTA!!!
I'm not riding this bike very much lately & would like to see it get used more!
It is a one-size fits all dirt jumper soft tail that is also an excellent park/ free ride bike!
It's in great shape with little use & has a brand new wheel set with fresh tires from this Spring that have only been ridden on once!
Here is the breakdown of all the parts I built this bike up with:
- Spinner Cargo fork 20mm axle air adjustable 100 to 150mm travel on the fly with lock out
- rear shock is a RockShox Monarch 100mm travel air adjustable with lock out
- RaceFace Atlas anodized red crank with recently installed BB & fresh 30tooth RF narrow/ wide chainring
- red anodized ChainGuide
- white Dartmoor pedals
- SRAM X9 9spd shifter & XO rear derailleur carbon short cage
- 9spd SRAM cassette 11-32
- Avid Ultimate brakes w/ 203mm front & 180mm rear rotors, carbon levers (recently bled)
- anodized red Gusset riser handle bars wide uncut w/ fresh new red anodized lock-on grips
- Spank Spike red anodized Wheelset has been sold! I have installed an S-Type Wheelset with freshly rebuilt red anodized rear hub.
- Kenda Small Block 8's 26 x 2.35" Kevlar bead
- Truvative white short stem 31.8mm
- seatpost is a very lite 27.2mm DareDevil that can easily drop down to permit the seat to sit just above the top tube/ rear wheel
The frame has a straight 1.5" head tube & a headset adapter that is currently set up to accept straight steer 1 1/8". But it can easily accommodate either a straight 1.5" steer fork or the very popular tapered steer forks 1 1/8" to 1.5"!
The frame currently has a rear derailleur bracket mounted on it, but can easily be set up for SingleSpeed as well (especially since the rear swing arm pivoting joint is the centre of the BB & the rear dropouts are horizontal! The complete bike weighs in around 32lbs & can be even lighter as a SS!
*** I am also open to parting out the frame or any of the other parts!!!!
Please contact me with an questions.
Thanks

Jul 9, 2014Mountain Cycles Shockwave 9.5
$1000 CADI'm selling my medium sized Mountain Cycles Shockwave 9.5 in great shape!
I built this bike up during the 2013 winter & rode it at Blue Mountain 3 times!
This is why I am selling it! I do not ride DH enough to justify owning such a beast of a bike!!!!
It has the following parts on it:
- 2008 RockShox Boxxer WC fork
- x7 shifter, x9 rear derailleur
- shimano Hone brand (new) crank w/ 38 tooth Blackspire chainring
- Avid Elixer 5 hydro brakes 8" discs (brand new)
- Kenda Nevegal 26 x 2.5" (brand new) tires w/ DH thick tubes
- chainguide
- Boxxer direct mount stem (I also have a 2nd one included as a spare)
- new Lock On grips
- Bontrager seatpost 31.6mm
- front axle is 20mm & rear axle is bolt-through 12 x 135mm
- SRAM 9spd chain (brand new)
- 9spd road racing (close ratio) cassette
- Fox DHX 5.0 coil rear shock w/ Pro Pedal
- wide handle bars
- Syncros 1 1/8" headset
*** I also will include a 2nd set (upper & lower) of triple trees. One is standard & the other is lower drop, so that you can position the fork legs even further down giving a more slack head angle!
This bike is very plush/ forgiving & soaks up all the roots/ ruts! Weighs in around 37lbs (very reasonable for a fully dedicated long travel DH bike)!!!!!
Has new cable & in great working shape!
*** I am also open to parting the bike out, please let me know if you would be interested in just the frame or fork!!!!!

Ontario Riders - The Don Needs Your Help
Shame i only got to ride this section once before the city closed it. It was a much more fun/ safer improvement & i loved all the jumps!
Is it still closed now?
When will it be reopened?
Hmmmmm, would be a shame if someone were to go through & tear down all the "closed" signs & cut through all the orange plastic fencing! Then others would continue to ride through it as if it had never gotten closed!
Hmmmmmmm..........
