@merlin33: Same sentiments. I also ran a Stumpy Evo before, and Druid V2 pedals better, also is faster on the down. Yea, it's a heavy frame, but honestly, I think the added weight plays nicely when mobbing down, and again, that high anti-squat really makes it feel efficient on the way up.

Druid pedals insanely well! Owned one for three years. High anti-squat gives it next to zero pedal bob.

Review: The Forbidden Reya Throws Conventional XC Geometry Out the Window
Got in early, have had my Reya since April. Coming off an Epic 8 Evo, and it climbs similar enough not to complain. Epic 8 was a bit sportier when sprinting, but didn't "feel" overly a world's away in terms of efficiency. Reya, though, is way rowdier downhill. Long wheelbase and chain stays keep you planted, and you can run a tall stack and drop the heels like an enduro bike. And, finally, promotional geo on a short travel bike.

Video: A 4-Day, 3-Country Circumnavigation of Mont Blanc
I did this in 4 days, too. Without an eeb. Grunting up those brutally steep climbs (remarkably little hike-a-bike) just made room for more pasta at each Refugio. Insane trip, would absolutely recommend. Long road crossings through the valleys, but worth the ribbons of singletrack down from each col.

Review: 7 of the Best Hydration Vests Ridden & Rated
Get on the Rhythmus train! I survived a 4 day "credit card" bikepacking trip (we did the Tour du Mont Blanc on MTB's), and the RP 9L carried a spare change of clothes, sandals strapped to the outside, tools, and enough pastries to give a small Swiss child diabetes. Fit is dialed and materials are sturdy.
