I got some friends who would love to do a trip like this.
Is there anyone here who can give us some tips on which dates will be best suited to do a trip like this. Is it late in the summer, or is it possible earlier in the summer as well?

Nelson BC Has More Trails? The Guide Book
I have been thinking about going to Nelson a couple of months this autumn and I have a couple of questions. When does the season end approximately? And how is it to travel to Nelson on your own, is it easy to find locals to ride with? Is it a good mountain biking community there?
