Opinion: Mixed-Wheel Bikes Are Like A Swiss Army Knife
Ive ran the same 29er lyrik at 160 travel with big wheel & 180 travel with 27.5 in a mullet Patrol. Longer travel even with the wee wheel was way plusher/comfy & maybe more fun if just messing about but the big wheel would pull you through stuff faster, so depends what youre after. Im also a decrepid 50 something.

Spank hex 102 rear with continental kryptotal.
Fork lowers, shock aircan & dropper post cleaned & lubed, recent cables, bb, headset bearings & everything working perfect.
If you want to run it full 29 (i prefered mullet) I'll sell it for £100 less without the rear wheel. Best all round bike I've owned & I've owned too many.

Transition Patrol size large

I'm the original owner & can supply receipt (these come with a lifetime warranty tho not transferable)
Frame has a raw finish that has a clear coat (original) which has usual marks/scuffs from use but no dents or cracks.
Headset & bb good.
Fox X2 hasnt seen much use as i had a coil fitted from nearly new.
This is a great riding frame & only selling as I'm too old for the kind of riding it's capable of.
Have a few parts to suit if needed for building up.
