Pinkbike Poll: What Would You Upgrade On Your Current Mountain Bike?
@lccomz: You are only blowing if you think you are. I don’t think you are. Who cares what other people think you should or shouldn’t do?

Pinkbike Poll: What Would You Upgrade On Your Current Mountain Bike?
@showmethemountains: My hours are 8am - 4:30pm. We ride 1-2 hours after work on weekdays, Saturday's afternoons are town rides, then most Sunday's are all day trail riding. My kids aren't into school sports - they just like to bike instead. I also grew up this way - my Dad got into mountain biking in the early 80's and he took as riding everyday. My parents are turning 76 this year, and they still ride with us often

Pinkbike Poll: What Would You Upgrade On Your Current Mountain Bike?
@mtbyoda: I get the young kids thing - I was once there. Here's some hope for all you parents with young kids - it gets way better as they get older. My kids are 16 and 11 years old. We all ride together now and its great fun and good for them as well. I love watching my kids grow up with their own distinct personalities and interests.

Pinkbike Poll: What Would You Upgrade On Your Current Mountain Bike?
@jason475: this is just like the people that say they don't have time to work on their fitness/health because they are too busy. Why are they so busy? Don't they have choices in life? I have the same problems in life as the average person, but I have no problems in scheduling time everyday to ride because I enjoy it, it relieves stress, and it is healthy for me to do so. Not being douche.. just curious what the hang up is.

Pinkbike Poll: What Would You Upgrade On Your Current Mountain Bike?
I read a book some time ago - "The life changing magic of not giving a f*ck". It shows you how to prioritize the things and values that are important and politely bow out of everything else in life that not important to you. It really does change your life. My top priorities are family, work, riding my bike. I don't do anything else.

Pinkbike Poll: What Would You Upgrade On Your Current Mountain Bike?
Just curious - what keeps people from riding? I am 40, married, 2 kids, and a 40 hour a week job. I can ride every single day.

I would be afraid the seatpost will release and knock my teeth out. If it was a Command Post that is.

I have T1D - I have found that eating a super low carb diet allows me to ride all day without needing to eat. It takes a while to get fat adapted but the results are amazing. I know the current fad is keto this and keto that, but this type of lifestyle has existed long before keto - research Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution.
