Course Preview: Smooth Sailing - Albstadt World Cup XC 2019
I kind of have to agree on this one. I think while the sport in fact progressing, maybe we should question if this is what XC should be. Or maybe, there should be more trail/all mnt races that are not xc, not enduro. Where riders are timed on a loop or longish loop of natural gnarly terrain. Many of the world cup cx courses had sections that were tougher than some DH courses, I´m not sure this makes sense either. And yeah, if 152 riders start, you have to give them a shot at being able to pass each other almost anywhere! Otherwise change the format. That said, watching gnarly xc is fucking sweet haha

This is a beautiful size Large 2016 Intense Uzzi purple rig. The perfect bike for agressive enduro and countless laps at the bikepark. The build is pretty dialed and it rides amazing, it is an absolute beast. The best bike I've ridden. I changed to this one after a carbon Intense tracer. It pedals incredibly well, like any enduro bike, despite the burly build. Of course, it absolutely Bombs away the downhills. It can be set up to 170mm or 190mm rear travel in the back (I preferr the 190 set-up as the BB sits a bit higher and the seat tube is straighter) It canbe run with single or dual crown forks depending on the build. It is BOOST spacing. Spec: Frame: Intense UZZI 27.5, 170mm -190mm travel, size large. Shock: Cane creek double barrel air Fork: Rock shox boxxer team coil Wheels: Dt swiss E1900, 148x12 (boost) rear, 20axle front Cranks: E-thirteen trs alu cranks with 32 tooth ring Rear mech and shifter: Sram X1, 1x11 Casette: xx1, 1x11 Seatpost: Rock Shox reverb Seat: Fizk-it Brakes: Shimano xt or sram guide (you choose!) Tires: Maxxis high roller and minion dhf. 2.5 TR exxo Stem: Nukeproof warhead Handlebar: Nukeproof warhead carbon 80 wide Ethirteen chainguide, easton havoc grips Let me know if I left something out or if you have questions about something. This is the last aluminum intense frame made in the US and used to retail for well over 3000€ for the frame alone. Luckily you won't have to pay that much to enjoy it ; ) If you know what this bike is, you probably dont need much more convincing! If you don't, make sure to check out some articles and ask me any questions. I will be delighted to help you figure out if this bike is for you. There is not a lot of info on this bike out there and probably a lot of missconception. There is some good info on the suspension curve that shows exactly how well this bike pedals but also absorbs, and some news coverage from when it came out on Pinkbike and the like. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/first-look-intense-uzzi-275-interbike-2015.html Looking forward to chatting with you about this sweet, sweet rig! I´m asking £2500 OBO. Ask me about frame only and about a brand new frame I am also selling for £1400, pictured in the last image. Will ship globally and can consider trades or taking other bikes as a part of a payment. Thanks for looking!!!
