British Rider Needed 17 Stitches After Hitting Barbed Wire Trail Trap

Hope the poor guy does not suffer a lack of confidence riding following this incident. We have a local pissed off dog walker and anti MTBer who regularly sabotages trails with logs and dogshit and I stopped riding these trails because I was afraid he would take it up to the next level.

@noahr2011: I'm from Stoke, yes it's been blighted by all the traditional industries disappearing to be replaced by minimum wage dead end warehouse jobs. But great people though,,, and only a stones throw from the Peak district.

YT Industries Partners with a Leading UK Cycle to Work Scheme

I have taken advantage of this scheme with a previous employer and found it great value, however my current employer refuses point blank to get involved with the scheme despite a large percentage of employees expressing an interest. Any one else had this experience with their employers?

I must say (as an Englander) Kirrroughtree has got to be one of the best trail centres in the UK at the moment and the Dumfries & Galloway region is up there with North Wales for trail centre choice & quality.
