@William42: where are all these reports? The first version had some break but 5dev redesigned them. And swapped them for the new design free of charge for customers that were concerned. If they were just snapping like you say I don’t think Frameworks would be running them on their race bikes when 5dev makes a solid version. Look at pics of Asa’s bike and you can see they are not swapping them out often.

Not likely. They’d have to get F, R or O to make a longer travel fork. Every part of the fork would have to be made “one-off” and that’s a massive investment. 200 is working so that’s what we have.

@IntoTheEverflow: I’d think the main reason is forks are set at 200 but a company can make a 250mm stroke shock have whatever travel they feel necessary with linkage and rates.

I hate that frames have a warranty at all. It just makes them more expensive. They figure whatever, say 10% of frames will require warranty, so they that cost into every frame they sell. We all pay for that “lifetime” warranty.
