@panthermodern: I've been riding the R8 for about 2 years and it not only beats the SID but I think its also better than the Pike at 120 or 130mm. Pretty supple with a nice support on the bigger stuff at just below 1500 grams it feels like a bigger fork.

@ishouldbebiking: A little bit, but it looks worse on the photo than IRL. Caliper is set offset from the seatstay so the bolt is reachable enough for half a turn on the side of the trail. Nice thing about the flatmount dropouts is that the brake can also be adjusted from the underside, where even the bulkiest multitool has excellent access.

@WalterXTexLA: project12 was started from my shed with limited knowledge and skills about 10 years ago. Literally the 12th "project" on my burnout recovery list. Framebuilding as therapy.
UNpaved is a continuation of project12, but since my skills, knowledge, tools and techniques have upgraded so much, ánd framebuilding is no longer just therapy but also a business, I wanted to transform and rethink what I was making. So UNpaved was born. Business wise probably stupid, but it felt like closure of pretty shitty part of my life.
