Jul 14, 2023Kona Operator medium
$1200 CAD2012 Kona Operator, bought in 2013 and used lightly in Ontario and a few trips east and west.
Bike is still in great shape. Full tune up and new tires, grips, seals and oil in fork and shock in 2021. Has been very sparingly used and just broke my trail bike so selling her to help me buy a new one I can peddle as it spends most of the time just hanging around and looking pretty.
Specs as follows:
Rock Shox 200m racer fork
Rock Shox Vanilla rear shock
Code R brakes -8m and 7m rotors
Maxxis DHR and High Roller tires w/ WTB rims
Is a fun bike but I barely use it and need a good trail bike for this area.

Pinkbike Poll: How Long Do You Keep Your Bike?
Depends on the bike, my 2012 Operator is still solid as I live in Ontario and I only use it once a year either out west or east for trips, my trail bike every 3-4 years and I have a steel frame road bike I think from the 90's with only upgrades to the wheels and drivetrain that I still ride once or twice a month.
Bought a fat bike this winter cause skiing gives you Covid according to the Ontario Govt. so will see how long it holds up.
