Sliding dropouts? Hard pass. Disc brakes really don't want a wandering chainstay length. I know a tensioner kills the asthetic, but it gives you the option of making it your 'one' bike and put some gears on it someday.

Pinkbike Poll: Center Lock or 6-Bolt Brake Rotor Mounting?
Not as easy to add titanium bling to centerlock. I definitely avoid buying anything centerlock because I only want one standard in my garage.
