The
ADHRA (Alberta Down Hill Racing Association) is hosting a downhill race on Sunday July 13th at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort in Golden, BC. Races don't happen on their own and volunteers are needed to help make everything run more smoothly. Those of you racing - bringing a parent, a girl friend, a boyfriend? Why not ask them to volunteer to help keep the racing scene that you love alive. It's likely that the local volunteer base is going to be a bit tired out after Psychosis last weekend, so we're hoping to get some additional help. We're looking for about 4 more first aid volunteers (CPR/basic first aid is preferable) and as many course marshals as possible. Perks for volunteers will include free lunch and one free lift ticket for biking at KHMR you can use another day, and an accommodation discount (about 25% off) if you decide to make a weekend trip of it. If you have first aid training we will provide free accomodation for you.
Send Steph an email at guitargal2000@hotmail.com if you're interested in helping out so we can get a rough idea of the number of volunteers we can expect.
Thanks,
Steph Grassi
