Video: Pre-Season Testing of Intense's M279 HP6 Prototype
I know it is contemporary to say bad things about Specialized, and sometimes they carry their products for 4-5 years which seems uninnovative to some, but honestly, they came up with the Demo in 2019, it is 2023 and other brands' protypes looks like exactly a rethought Demo. Same with Enduro and SJ Evo, they are still considered as standard of their own class.

Jordan Williams Joins Specialized Gravity Racing
What I incredibly love in DH is that you can never know for sure who will be how dominant. Such as me myself, and all my dudes around me believed that Bruni's season is 100% f...ed after injury, and guess what? We could never have been more wrong. One slip and your season is over, or one good day and someone without zero podium can win.

Specialized Lays Off 8% of its Employees in "Organization Adjustment"
Speaking of someone working in the industry, I do think that if we (under we I mean everyone, shops, everyday people, riders, investors) would not have handled this bike industry growth as a bike boom but more likely a seasonal grow, it would not have been this radical either. I know tons of people around me who had never been a mtb rider before the last 2 years, but after covid they bought a bike, and now they are riders. They ride almost everyday, they buy new equipment, apparel, new parts. Don’t tell me the boom is over, cause at least 50% of the new joiners have stabily become so called “riders”. These people will stay with cycling, they eventuslly buy new bikes in the future, new clothes, they pay money on bike trips and will use cycling infrastructure wether it is a bike park or a bike lane around the suburban lake. It was a rapid growth, not a boom or a bubble. Bubble is when after it pops, everything goes down to the previous level or even below. I would not believe there is or there will be less riders out there as it was before covid. It was a rapid growth, and now the growth slowed down, but business goes on, cycling has future.

Sam Pilgrim Signs with Canyon
I hope now he will earn enough to fix the missing tooth. For me it was always and will be disgusting for some reason, not really professional.

Video: Dreamscapes and Big Sends with Conor MacFarlane on an EMTB
Always impressed Conor Macfarlane. Guy looks like an avarage, but fit dad coming from a suburban crossfit session, and he throws backflip-barspins on e-bikes. One of the most underrated riders on the scene. Big up Conor!

2022 Pinkbike Awards: Performance of the Year Nominees
This is FAR the hardest category of Pinkbike Awards. This list really highlights what a year we had in competitive cycling, so many individual stories where I was shocked, or emotional packed into one single list. Loic home soil win, Finn home soil win are far the most emotional and goosbump moments, but the EWS guy bikepacking is the most inspirational one. Can at least 3-4 of them win?

2022 Pinkbike Awards: Breakout Rider of the Year Nominees
Does anyone else thinks that these lists coordinatedly need to show as man women competitors as men to be balanced? Absolutely no offense, I was just surprised (not in a bad way!!!) how low percentage male athletes are on the nominees.

First Look: The 2023 Orbea Wild Is A Race-Ready eMTB
Integrated cable routing looks the WORST when only the front wheel cable is outside. It is the most horrible of all. If I had the money to buy it, If I wanted to buy it, I would go to an orbea shop and refused to is publicly just for the sake of it. Piece of shit routing.
