Day 1 Randoms - Red Bull Rampage 2025
The event is held on public land - not sure if it is State owned or BLM land (federally owned). Either way, they apply for and receive event permits that include the digging, building, etc. Publicly owned land in the US is not conserved land, unless it is explicitly conserved. Most public lands are held for public use, or use that is consistent with the public interest, as laid out by the rules governing each type of land. In this case, the fact that the event takes place each year means that they have met the standard required to receive a permit.

Mike Kazimer's 2025 Predictions
My (limited) experience with the bigger Quebec trail networks like Bras du Nord and Sector du Moulin/Maelstrom is that the trail builders there have figured out how to build excellent flow, excellent flow mixed with tech, and excellent tech. The range of trail difficulty and riding types, and the difficulty of the hardest trails in those networks is top notch.

Thought Experiment: How Much Does It Actually Cost To Start Mountain Biking?
I've had a few bikes where the pivot hardware requires a 10 mm wrench, especially the collet-style hardware.

Banshee Prime V3 - XL

$1000 USD
2020 Banshee Prime V3 Frame, XL Raw with short chainstay option. Selling my Banshee Prime V3 frame plus a few extras. Sale include: - Fox DPX2 Performance Elite Shock - Factory Headset - Code R brakes (no rotors) with several sets of new metallic pads This is an excellent trail bike with 135 mm rear travel and excellent suspension design. It is designed around a 140-160mm fork. I built it up with a 160mm Fox 36 and it was a fantastic aggressive trail/all mountain bike, but most of my local riding doesn't need a bike that aggressive, so I've gone to a shorter travel bike and am selling this frame. Frame is in good condition - 2.5 seasons of moderate riding, with only minor cosmetic issues. General scuffs from riding, and a couple larger scratches on the top tube from flat pedal pins on another bike when it was being loaded into the back of a pickup. Reach out with questions. Would prefer local pickup, but will ship within the US at buyers expense.
