Feb 7, 2016Kona Precept DL
$1500 CADI am currently selling my 2014 Kona Precept DL. The bike was purchased brand new from Ascent Cycle in Lethbridge. It has been gently used (city/trail riding), and everything on the bike is virtually brand new.
I have removed the front derailleur, and swapped out the middle chainring with a 32 tooth Raceface narrow-wide chainring. I also added an E13 Bash guard in place of the large chainring, and swapped the plastic platform pedals with white Kona Wah-Wah (all metal). The bike has been stored indoors its whole life, but it is need of a beginning-of-season tune.
Looking for cash only (no paypal, trades, or cheques). Price is relatively firm, but any REASONABLE offers will be considered.

Pinkbike Poll: Protective Gear - or Not
A family friend (friends 14 year old brother) was in accident where he ended up crashing and doing significant damage to his spine. He was wearing a helmet and all the gear, but no neck brace, and he'll never be able to walk again. It's something you never really think about in your teens and early twenties, but seeing some 14 year old boy who will never ride again, will never run again, and will never walk again; it really drives home the point that you're not invincible. I've always been a helmet/shins/gloves/goggles guy, now I include a neck brace anytime I'm doing DH riding.
