I'll ride in sun, snow, sleet, hail, rain, dust, mud, etc - I'm Welsh, can't be fussy about the weather. Life is peachy.

Nukeproof Mega AM

$950 GBP
Long travel enduro, all-mountain bike - size medium (17”). 160mm front and back. The spec is pretty much off the shelf (see link below), except that I’ve changed the set up to a 1x10 drivetrain with a RaceFace Narrow-Wide 34t chainring and a Blackspire chain guide with a taco. It’s got High Rollers on it too. Funn pedals. https://m.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/Bikes,3/Nukeproof/Mega-AM-275-Comp,14448 I’ve had it from new - bought from Lodge Cycles. It’s been really well looked after since and is ready to ride. It’s been ridden on the trails of South Wales and so it has a bit of wear and tear but nothing that affects performance. It’s been heli-taped from new. The worst ding is shown, but that’s on the top tube which is also heli-taped. Collection in person or you’re welcome to sort a courier. Give me a bell with any questions. Gracias!

Commencal Meta AM (medium)

$1300 GBP
Hola. Shopping for a new winter bike but before I can have one I'm shifting my Meta. According to the good people at Commencal, the following paragraph describes my bicycle: The Commencal Meta AM3 Suspension Bike 2012 is the essence of COMMENCAL’s philosophy, our take on the pleasure of riding simple. With fantastic climbing performance and incredible descending ability thanks to its Commencal-style geometry. The Meta AM3 will quickly show its wide range of capabilities. No need to introduce the Meta AM3! Identified as one of the best All Mountain bikes on the planet Commencal Meta AM3 Suspension Bike 2012 Features: Frame: META V2 - 150mm Shock: Fox Float RL *changed to Fox CTD* Fork: Fox 32 Float RL 150mm 15QR Headset: Integrated w/sealed bearings Stem: Commencal VIP OS Bar: Commencal VIP 1.5” OS 740mm Grips: Commencal Lock-On *changed to Moove lock ons* Brakes: Formula RX internal 180/180 Shifters: New Sram trigger X5 2x10 Front Mech: New Sram X7 direct mount 2x10 Rear Mech: New Sram X7 10 speed Bottom Bracket: included w/crankset Cranks: New SRAM S1000 Press-fit 39/26 Chain: Sram PC1030 10 speed Cassette: Sram PG-1030 11-36 Rims: Mavic XM119 Hubs: COMMENCAL disc 15QR Front, 142x12mm Rear Spokes: Stainless black 64p 3x lacing Seatpost: Commencal VIP 31.6mm Saddle: I changed the shock to a Fox CTD which is awesome (the stock fitted float was gash). 3 settings: Climb, Trail and Descend (I'm sure you can figure out what they're for). Other tweaks are Moove lock on grips, a Commencal mud guard for the shock and an E13 chain guide with taco. I'll even throw in the Nukeproof pedals in a fetching yellow colour - I'm so nice. Heli taped where it counts too. Fork and shock in top condition - no marks on stansions. The whole bike Rhino Goo'd after every ride and drive train re-lubed. Bolt through front and rear so it's super stiff on the trail. Internal cable routing makes it look pretty slick too. I'll consider trades for AM bikes (150mm+ travel) of similar value or I'll think about a decent 'hardcore hardtail' (hate that phrase) and some cash - Trans AM, 456, Crush, Blue Pig etc. It's in great condition - sooner or later the headset bearings will need to be serviced and the fork and shock are will be due a service at the end of the year. Cash on collection preferred but I'll meet in the middle withing reasonable distance. I want the buyer to see before buying so we're both 100% happy with the transaction. Buzz if you're interested. Peace.
