Dakine Builder Pack - Review
@stickboy: Agree that this latest version with aluminum frame will be an improvement over the limp noodle back panel found in earlier versions which made load carrying sometimes problematic. Not sure I like the outboard fuel carry on the chainsaw panel. Potential for water bottle rupture as the pack is dumped. Also, would miss the tool carry sleeves on the previous model. I was able to remove my pick/mattock with one click of a buckle without removing the pack. Much superior to a couple of staps.

You are missing the point. It's not about the bike.

Trippin' in Jamaica - Video
Trails are mostly public but are a link up of access trails following water pipes, paths to remote farmers fields and high elevation villages. Usually getting to the trailhead involves a complicated shuttle with lots of elevation gain. Local knowledge and guides required to make the best of your riding day. Singletrack Jamaica has bikes available for their tours but I always bring mine.

Pivot Firebird, size Large

$700 USD
Frame will ship from 99153 WA to US buyer. 2012 Pivot Firebird frame in a spectacular custom powdercoat. This frame was completely overhauled last year by previous owner. Stripped and re-finished in an orange candy powdercoat, bearings replaced, shock rebuilt, and new poly bushings installed. Frame is in excellent condition...though there is wear from being ridden. The chainstay has the typical marks from chainslap, however there are no chips in the powdercoat there (I also replaced the protective vinyl for the chainstay), and there is rub on the left dropout . Other than that, not much to speak of. The shock is an RP23 and as mentioned it was completely overhauled last year...no issues, works perfectly. I am including a FireEye Iris-X Headset (includes adapters for tapered forks and 1 1/8" straight forks) in ano orange, the original angleset that you will need if you want to run 27.5" wheels in this frame (it will support 27.5 with a 2.2 tire,), the special FD mount and original SLX front derailleur, the specially-modified lower 2x chainguide, and a QR seat clamp.
