Throwback Thursday: Mick Hannah's World Cup Win in Vigo 2006
Man I love watching all the Earthed and Sprung videos. For me you just can't beat them. I remember this WC so well. I was shit scared of fully letting it go down that rocky chute. The video doesn't fully do it justice.
I was so stoked for Mick that weekend. I always looked up to him. I remember my dad dragging me over to congratulate him because I was too scared to talk to him haha. 15 years later I was on a team with him. Life is mad and unpredictable! Mick you're one of the greats and its not just because of the race victories!

@russthedog: Nope!! He started racing Enduro first. He came 4th in the very first EWS when he was only 15. Before that he raced European super enduros where he was scouted by Dan Atherton. He later went on to race the occasional DH WC but mostly just to represent Belgium in the DH World Champs as a junior. I've spent a good bit of time with the man over the years haha but I do enjoy how people started out
