Snow Show - Les Gets Bike Park to Reopen This Saturday
Verbier is one of the more forward thinking resorts. Always one of the first to open and last to close and with a good network of enduro trails as well as the bike park stuff. This year they were open until the end of october when the lifts were shut for maintenance, showing that you don't need from the end of August to the start of December to maintain the lift system. They also have lifts open to bikes now and guides available for xmas rides.
I believe Pila may also be open at the moment too.
Morillon and Samoens have never truly opened to bikes, you can just get lucky and sneak a few laps if the lifty doesn't mind but the official line is a big no.
I'd definitely agree that more resorts should be building flowy greens and blues though, Les Carroz has invested in a 5km super wide green run that makes introducing people to bikes much easier. Instead of fear and intimidation people are genuinely able to enjoy riding mountain bikes in a bike park from the get go.

Poaching Chamonix - A Smuggler’s Treasure Trove.
I'm not against the occasional use of these 'inaccesible' trails, I regularly ride similar stuff and yes there are ways to get to them using lifts... But you should do this kind of thing off your own back, or hear about it by word of mouth. Posting an article on an international website on how to access this kind of stuff, especially in a way that is deceiving the people that are there for yours and others safety is really irresponsible. The pictures are amazing and should be seen but the accompanying article giving the trails location and how to access it should not have been published.
This is a problem with the ease of communication these days, hidden gems and mythical routes spread like wildfire over the internet. There will now be so many underprepared, unaware and unskilled idiots trying to jump that train this summer that it will no doubt affect mountain biking overall in the Chamonix valley, an area which has been reluctant to say the least about welcoming us to their trails.

Kona Mash Up - Week 19 of 52 weeks
The guys in the Trek kit were Rob and Jon Parkin of Dirt TV fame, they work for Trek! Don't be so judgemental....they were there as I was for the same reasons as you to get out our bikes and have fun....

The footage is a few bits from different runs stuck together, the last bit when I'm following James was the first run down the track and I rolled a couple of the jumps...! No real reason for missing them was just cruising...
I've got some more footage from La Clusaz that I might stick together into another vid. The bike is a Solid Mission 9, James is on a K9 Industries DH001.
