Trust me, following these three cornering tips will give you more traction than any tire you could ever hope to install in your bike. I run XC race tires and can gap a way beefier bike on the descents:
1: LOOK where you want to go, your go where you look
2: LEAN your body in the direction you want to go, your bike will follow
3: POINT your knees in the direction you want to go, your bike will go where your knees are pointing
Just experiment with these tips a little bit, see where it takes you :)

I know exactly how this guy is going to feel. I was injured last year at the top of my game, suddenly thrust into the reality of not even being able to ride my bike down the block. It has been this way for almost 5 months and im just now starting consistent miles again. I would never wish that TORTURE on anyone, ever.

Shimano SLX-M7120 Four Piston Front Brake
$70 USDIn good condition. Works great, simply pulled off my bike when I switched to a lighter XC brake set. Lever has a lot of scratches but they are all cosmetic. Pads are worn but still rideable. Will ship chalked.
