Switchcraft's Brit Inspired Trail Bike From the Czech Republic
This is the most beautiful ad I've ever read. I would wish I was in the market for a dh bike, if I didn't feel so unworthy of wielding such a godly machine...

First Ride: The New EXT Era Fork is Very, Very Promising
As much as I just want to drop some offhand comment about the "feels like a coil" thing, I've started noticing my initial reaction to stuff like this is always something negative, even if I actually really like the product. This seems really cool, and just having seen what EXT does with shocks makes me excited to see how this preforms. Now, maybe I'm wrong, but I figure if you really want the plush feeling of a coil that bad, just get a coil fork? I understand that air is incredibly more adjustable, and generally lighter, but idk it just seems odd that everyone is trying so hard to replicate what we already have? I feel like I must be wrong here...

Building The World's Lightest 29er DH Bike With Dangerholm
Can we get a price column next to that weight chart? Also just curious, are maxxis actually a decent option weight wise? I just wouldn't have guessed they'd be that competitive.

Gen 1 Santa Cruz Nomad

$600 USD
Santa Cruz Nomad I built as a side project, I just don't really ride it. It could use a new fork, the manitou travis currently installed has a lot of problems, but is technically rideable. The bolt that held the damper shaft to the lowers snapped, but I was able to secure it with a smaller bolt and a washer. Other than that everything on the bike is pretty functional. -150mm front 165mm rear travel -sram GX 1x10 with an 11-42 sunrace cassette -Hayes 9 hydraulic brakes -custom built WTB KOM i23 wheels with an atomlab aircorp hub which was extremely nice back when it was new. -Raceface Aeffect bar and stem cut to 780mm. -Maxxis tires (Set up tubeless) have a good amount of tread left on them I have a couple more 26er dh tires I can throw in for a little extra. this ad previously said I'd consider trades, but at this point I've already ordered everything I would've considered trading for (building a new bike).

$5 Raffle For Skills With Phil's Evil Calling to Benefit Burlington Bike Park
I was wondering if the giveaway was over when the bike disappeared from OGE, guess it was just postponed. little disappointed my chances of winning are lower now but psyched this'll bring in more funding for a real trail system in Burlington finally...

Review: Magura's Lightweight MT8 SL Brakes
I had a set of mt4s on my bike a few years back, and I must've bled them 4 or 5 times in a year and they never felt good. One of them is now on my friends dirt jumper and it feels fine. I also have a set of mt5s on my dh bike, and I after one bleed they've been great for like 2 years. I bought both sets used, so I can't say for sure that any of this was magura's fault, but I probably wouldn't go for maguras again, just because of their inconsistency. I do love the modulation they have, and the mt5s have really good power, the bleed process definitely is a bit more involved than other brands, and although it pains me to say it, it's just more convenient to run a more common brand, that shops would have parts on hand for. obviously they're not "bad" breaks, just more work to get going right than other brands, at least in my experience.

Randoms From the VR Taipei Cycle Show 2020
surprised it's taken this long for someone to make an inline bit point adjuster! seems like such a simple idea but I don't think I've ever seen one before, I hope it's not too expensive cause I'm super interested in getting some!
