Seriously though, Q1 and at a min Q2 needs some type of coverage. They have everything in place filming wise etc, so utilize the investment. And how bad do the viewers want it? Well that's a no brainer. The coverage compared to finals would be modified obviously, but someone in the know could put something together that's quite concise and like Ben said prob (to start with) as a prelude to the finals. Q2 on Youtube at the beginning of this format in Poland had me on the edge of my seat in a new and refreshing way. What a tease now that they stopped doing it when there's no XC.

Hey, is Q2 going to be on youtube? They did that in year 1 in Poland and honestly it was almost as sick as finals because of the rider list and pressure. Now Q2 is even more hyped up than in year 1 of the format so would be sick to watch it. No XC this weekend so possibly? Wait... that would be to cool for WB to get behind and to "free".

Why Red Bull Hardline Tasmania Was Cancelled

So broadcasting conflicts made it so they couldn't run the event the next day? That's a pretty big risk to think in that environment you don't need a backup plan isn't it? Bummed for the riders and all the effort they put in, travel, mental prep, training etc.... bet the track is mint today.
