Selling my 2022 Ripmo AF with lots of upgrades over the stock build. Fox 36 Factory: serviced this season and hasn’t been ridden Jade Coil with Sprindex: 490-560 spring. Hayes Dominion A4 brakes: Rear brake was bled this season and hasn’t been ridden Shimano drivetrain: mix of SLX and XT components all in good condition Wheels and tires: Stock Ibis wheels that were barely ridden. Tires are in excellent condition. Front tire is an Assegai EXO+ MaxxGrip compound, rear is an Aggressor in DD casing. Carbon deity bars 780mm Frame is an XL with a 495 mm reach. Lots of extra steerer tube to adjust stack. The bike is in good condition. The frame is scratched on the down tube and inner chain stays from normal wear and tear. Fork, drivetrain, and brakes are all newer than the frame and are in great condition. It’s ready to ride and doesn’t need anything.

For sale is a brand new, still in original packaging SRAM XX1 GXP crankset. Due to my propensity of casing jumps like its my job, my previous XO cranks had the misfortune of meeting their demise on a meager step up that a toddler on a push bike could have cleared. In any case (lol puns), the fairies at SRAM's warranty department saw that a brand spanking new crank was in order to save their reputation as a reputable source of overpriced bicycle hardware made up of the most common element found on earth. Although I didn't have the fortune of experiencing the inevitably stiffer (aka faster and more enduro) performance of this carbon fiber masterpiece on the trail, my initial impressions are profound: PROS: -fearof.net lists the fear of spiders as the "most common phobia in Western culture". Fear not, arachnaphobs. The spider-less, direct mount chain ring design will leave you comfortable at night knowing that your irrational fear of generally harmless creatures will not be triggered, unlike the masochists at Shimano who refuse to exterminate spiders from their cranksets. -despite the seemingly high price, the XX1 crankset is actually unusually high in value. At 546 grams, and this special once in a lifetime price, each gram of pure unadulterated carbon fiber costs you only $1.88 per gram! Compare that to cocaine, which, unless Shaggy from downtown has direct connections with the boys from "Narcos", will run you $60-$90 per gram. Not including the crisp 20 needed to consume Shaggy's allegedly "pure AF" white powder, most likely laced with sugar or laundry detergent. Dammit Shaggy, you cheap bastard. Although after using this crank you may face similar levels of addiction and potential withdrawal, I assure you this is a much more practical fix for your insatiable desire to reach that next level high. -the narrow wide configuration of chain ring will leave you without the need for one of those pesky chain guides, which are so not enduro. -Unlike the red-headed stepchild 156 Q-factor version, this bad boy comes in at 168 on the Q-factor scale. I don't really know what the means, but bigger is always better, right? -32 tooth chain ring. 32/2 is 16, there are 16 ounces in a pound, they use pounds in England to buy stuff, the queen is English, and so is the band Queen. Therefore, 32T is the chain ring Freddie Mercury would use. Sold. CONS: -You can still buy a few grams of cocaine instead of buying this crank, which I guess is something to be considered. -for those whose substance choices are slightly tamer than Colombian cocaine, for $290 you can get yourself approximately 14.5 cases of PBR, which is cost-benefit analysis that should definitely be performed by any potential buyer. -The crank arms measure at 175 mm, so if you're looking for a 170 or 180, this is not for you. But Goldilocks wouldn't have a problem with that, and neither should you. This same crankset goes for $329 on backcountry.com, so here ya go, $40 bucks saved just like that. I'd prefer to deal locally to my SLC brethren, but I could ship to your location, unless its McMurdo Station or something like that. Serious buyers, PM me about shipping, we'll work something out.
