@Endo79: Six months ago, you’d have been speaking my language. I used to wonder if Santa Cruz was just overpriced hype too. My 2022 Spectral ended up being a mess of rattles and a warranty claim for a delaminated BB. So, after a few years away, I decided to go back to SC. I went with the Hightower 4 because it was a straight swap for all my parts, including the shock. Built it up and... damn, it just works. That feeling on the descents where you’re faster without actually scaring yourself to death is priceless. Maybe SC lost its 'sparkle' for the spreadsheet warriors, but this bike totally brought back my stoke to just send it. At the end of the day, I don't think it's all about the geo charts. Not every manufacturer knows how to build a truly functional bike or maybe the H4 is just that good...
