Mathias Flückiger Says There Were 'Massive Errors' in the Handling of His Anti-Doping Case
like Pidcock did Koretzky? And I'm a Nino fan, so stop the BS. MF was wrongly accused of doping (0.3 N:L/MG when 5 NL/MG was accepted as atypical). The difference is catastrophic, it is not even debatable,

Except the WADA test showed he was at 0.3 ng/ml, when they were supposed to consider 5ng/ml atypical. You should read the whole article before making any judgement, there is a reason they re-instated him so quickly., no 2 or 4 year ban, because WADA f'd up.

Not sure of what you are trying to infer, but it sounds like you are calling him guilty for having. findings were 0.3 ng/mL, many times lower than the threshold value for possible contaminated meat consumption. WADA has reportedly issued instructions for anti-doping authorities in such cases, advising them that detection of a minimal amount below 5 ng/mL should be reported as an 'atypical result,' rather than 'positive.' Seems like the WADA people reported him for having well below naturally consumed levels by "JOE SHMOE"

Grouse Mountain to Launch Lift-Accessed Bike Park in 2025
@SHREDWORX: They have hired Gravity Logic, it says that right in the article. They were the original Whistler BP building group, so they have the experience you speak of.

@mi-bike: Haha, it was not my intention, but it works both ways I guess.

Grouse Mountain to Launch Lift-Accessed Bike Park in 2025
@alexsin: Hey, I'm not saying it can't get there, just that it will take a bunch of years to even get close to what people will expect when paying top $$$$ for a lift ticket. People are paying to the lift access, so riding down the Fromme side is not really a consideration for the masses, people like you would be more the exception than the rule. I would imagine that they would need to have some sort of check out system, if you don't go back down the Gondola, they do this with skiing, same number needs to go down as comes up. Plus the bottom/top of the Cut is not close to the access road, and I'm sure they will limit where on the mountain you can take your bike. But hey, it's all good that they are doing this, hopefully the riders will go and will be happy with the trails and value.

Won't be close to what Whistler has. Remember, Whistler has a 20 year head start, much larger terrain to access and way more vertical (even with just the bottom chair). Grouse has hired good builders, but it will take 5 or 6 years to get the number of trails up to a descent number. This was the complaint when Cypress had their bike park, not enough trails, not the right kind of trails, etc... but they were only open for 2 seasons. Sounds like Grouse is in it for the long haul, they also have the experience of owning Revelstoke Resort as well, so they know what they are in for.

In the end, it was a money losing situation for them, they sold off the chairlifts to somebody else and walked away. When they shut down for the Olympic (snow making installation, run upgrades), they said they would reopen, but the costs made no sense.

Bottom of the Cut. Don't think they will let you ride down the BMC or Grind. HAHA Seriously though, they would not be able to patrol anything below the chairlift, even if they own the land (not sure if they do), the liability of having trails they can't control/patrol, means they could only go within the ski area boundary.

@corerider: I think they closed due to the installation of the Snow Making System and run improvements for the events, not the S2S Highway improvements (those were not close to the Cypress offramp).
