BMC Road Racer - Carbon - Ultegra - FSA - DT Swiss

$1400 USD
Great BMC road bike for sale. 54cm but fits like a 56cm, I'm 5' 11" and it fits me perfectly. I love this bike but I don't get the time to ride it anymore. It is a very stiff bike (BMC's specialty) and when you get out of the saddle it hammers power down. Cornering feels very responsive and confident as well. Most components on this have been replaced/upgraded. Very recently put the DT Swiss wheelset and the FSA SLK carbon crankset on. Bike is in great shape, there are a few scratches on the top tube and right seat stay, other than that it's spotless. I just tuned the whole bike (I'm a former mechanic) and it's all running smoothly. Everything is listed below, ask me anything else. Build: BMC RoadRacer frame (integrated fork and seatpost 10 Speed Ultegra groupset Ultegra shifters with carbon levers FSA SL-K Carbon Crankset DT Swiss R23 Spline Wheelset FSA Carbon Bars Fiz-ik seat Continental 5000TL road tubeless tires (brand new, just mounted)

OneUp Components Releases RAD Cage
because shimano thinks mtbikers want more ratio's and electronic shifting instead of simple drivetrains, they're kinda stuck in roadie land...

OneUp Components Releases RAD Cage
Has anyone seen X1, it is a x.9 level 1x11, and it is way cheaper than X01. SRAM isn't wasting their time and engineering dollars on 1x10 when they can just put that same time and money into making 1x11 in cheaper groupsets. Engineering takes time and thousands of dollars. People seem to think the cost of a component is simply the cost of materials and production, when in reality about half of the cost is engineering, were talking engineering budgets in the multiple millions of dollars here. Don't like having to pay that, well then engineer it yourself... ...yeah that's what I thought, now quit bitching.

Opinion: Support Your Local Hardcore
The documentary is called "ride the divide", and yes, it has a very low finish rate. Probably due to it being ruthlessly hard.

I am fairly sure Gwin is faster than me on just a rim, to flat within seconds of the start gate and just pin it anyways is truly legendary. Seeing Loic go down on the run of his life was nuts too, I think there is much more to come from him.

Ask Pinkbike: Should I lock out my fork? A clamp to fit a stubby seat tube? How can I land a bike shop job?
Fox forks sag when locked out as well, I'm fairly sure RS forks do too, magura just put a fancy name on something most forks do anyway.

Spandex Shred!!!! This goes to show the best athletes are not "roadies" or "downhillers" or "freeriders", they are just bikers. The fastest best riders on the planet just love riding a bike.

XC Bike Checks: 4 World Cup Race Machines
Nino must like running a higher cadence than the other riders seeing that he is on a 27.5 wheel and running a 36t ring. That would be like a 34t on a 29er, much smaller than the other racers run. I guess the higher cadence works...

Pinkbike Poll: Are You Prepared, or Are You a Parasite?
All depends on the ride. When I go trail riding I have tools, tube, pump, zip ties, map, all in a hydration pack. If its a quick evening ride from the house I have a water bottle on the bike plus a tube, co2, and multi tool stashed in my jersey pockets. If I am riding the park or shuttling though, I carry nothing. That's not for style points, its because I can ride better without the weight, and If I'm always heading to the bottom of the park or the shuttle pick up I don't really need to repair in the field.
