First Look: Transition Launch Alloy Scout and Sentinel
Loved my patrol and spent some time on a V1 Sentinel that I really liked. I’d like to try the V2 Sentinel. I don’t know if it’s the offering or the 11/6 that makes it great or a combination of the two. Never rode it with any other shock. It makes me think I’d want that shock on any future bike though.

First Look: Transition Launch Alloy Scout and Sentinel
That’s what I thought too until I bought an offering with an 11/6.

Pinkbike Poll: How Much Sag Do You Run?
I just use the Evil gauge that basically always says the same thing.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Opt For Performance or Value From Your Tires?
What’s the general consensus on Maxx grip vs 3C on rolling resistance/speed. How much difference is there really? Let’s assume both front and rear. I have a set of each but the Maxx grips are double down with cushcore pro -Assguy/DHR2 and the 3C are exo/exo+ Assguy/Dissector. I swap back and forth(2 wheel sets) for trail and park or when it makes sense. Never really ridden the same stuff with both setups. Always wondered how much speed difference there really is. Obviously I can feel the other differences. Feedback from personnel experience appreciated.

Update: Queenstown Dirt Jumps Saved from Demolition
Every once in a while a dentist ( AKA all “rich” guys per PB) helps out. How about giving the dude the props he deserves? He probably doesn’t even ride their, I know I never will. But I’ll be the first one on here to say thanks for saving something that looks awesome and that I’m sure so many people put in millions of hours of labor to build. You’re the man!!

Marine Cabirou Pulls Out of Les Gets World Cup Following Road Gap Crash
I don’t ever want to see anyone get hurt. There’s a fine line between keeping it “safe” and taking out the difficulty. Since you brought up motocross. The best riders want the deepest ruts, and hardest track conditions because that’s what separates everyone. All the Pros can go fast, if it’s not gnarly, everyone will go basically the same speed. The tough conditions bring out the best and worst in bike setup, fitness, and ability. That being said, there’s no reason to make or leave a feature that is straight up unsafe. We all know that means. Blind obstacles, branches at head height, flat corners with cliffs behind them, stuff like that.

First Ride: The 2022 Ibis Exie is Made in USA & Ready to Race
That last paragraph was spot on for me. I love my enduro bike period. I love my e enduro bike for the added range and more riding time. It’s fun and more of a full body effort kind of like moto, but it’s a tank. I enjoy climbing too, but it gets old cranking up hill with a coil on the back. I had some light XC bikes 20 years. I think one of these might be a lot of fun on the right trails. Light tires with no cushcore would certainly change your line choices.
