Nice shooting for sure.
For the rider try to put your weight over the bike when cornering so you dont have to put a foot down. The best advice I ever got was buy good tires and trust them. You will go much faster around corners and with that you will have more traction.
All great stuff though! I look forward to getting back on the bike again.

Wow... Its hard to see my old bike with bb7's on it!
I feel like buying it back from you just for that. And what you said about the faster you got the brakes became less important. How is that exactly? BB7 is a good brake but not for that bike my friend.
Whefsad - The hubs on those wheels won't fit your bike unless you are on that one. Its a 160mm rear.
Foghorn we need to talk turkey again. Seriously.

Dec 4, 2010Dakota RT TRADE for Fullsize 4x4 Local
$4000 CADFor Sale 1999 Dodge Dakota R/T (GREAT SHAPE)! SALE OR TRADE FOR 4X4
Perfect truck for a younger driver that wants a pick up. Believe me when I tell you…Women dig purple trucks. If you take it you will find out.
I am looking to either SELL OR TRADE this truck. In a perfect world I would like $4500.00 but I will take best offer for the truck or a trade for a 4x4 ext cab pickup in relatively the same condition with close to the same km’s or less. I will consider trucks in worse condition if money is added.
With the new front end and the brakes less than 2 months ago I have spent around 2 grand. The truck starts every time in the coldest weather. Rarely gives me static about the snow or getting through it because of the limited slip dif. I need a bigger work truck because this isn’t doing it.
If you have offers please let me know the problems and the bonuses of your offer. I know my way around a truck and I will be checking everything. So if I find something that wasn’t mentioned I will bring it up.
I love this truck very much and I hate to see it go but for the type of work I do its impractical. I need something bigger and 4x4 for the muddy terrain I work in. It’s a sad time for me but my better half has zero issues with me getting rid of my other girlfriend. She will be missed…and replaced :O)
Just had the trucks 360ci inspected and tested by a friend that works at a custom engine rebuilder and the engine was given a clean bill of health. Plugs were clean as a whistle, no leaks and great compression. I was looking to have it rebuilt but was advised not to have that does since everything on the motor was still extremely strong. You should get about 200k from her.
220k and in great shape for an 11 year old truck.
Has a bunch of new parts;
- New brakes all around
- New front rotors
- New Rear cylinders (both sides)
- New Speed shift sensor
- New Upper and lower ball joints (Both sides)
- New Inner and outer tie rods (Both sides)
- New Rear brake line
- New Cold air intake (Factory intake comes with truck)
- New Alpine deck (IPod and USB only no CD) Great system.
- New MTX Terminator Mono amp
- New SSL 1000watt plus amp
- New Alpine 10 inch sub in custom console box (Old console will come with truck)
- New Lanzar 8 inch sub
- New winter tires this season on Steel rims Cost was $700.00 for tires and install. Good sticky tires.
- New Summer rubber (Falken rubber 255x50 R17 with one season)
- New V platinum spark plugs
- New HD Headlights installed. They are not the super high end ones, but they weren’t cheap either.
Truck does have the factory R/T 17 Rally wheels.
The paint on this truck is factory and is a 3 tone Pearl paint job (Black, Purple and blue) Shines purple and blue in the sun and black in the shade. Other than some small rust spots on the lower section on the fenders the body is in amazing shape. It would take me only a couple hours to fix these little spots because they are not that bad.
The truck has a
360ci at 300hp
Limited slip rear end (Both tires will spin till the cows come home).
The truck is geared low and hauls when it has to.
Front end is 1.5inches lower than the factory height and in my honest opinion corners like it is on rails.
The truck does ride stiff because it isn’t your grandfathers Cadillac. The Dakota R/T was Chryslers mean mid-size and the first mid-size to cram a big V8 under the hood.
I am 6’3 and I fit just fine in this truck even with a big winter jacket on.
The cap is a replacement A.R.E. and was painted but the paint is coming off in some small areas but not noticeable unless you are trying to find it. I have 2 keys for the cap and the lock works which also prevents the tailgate from opening.
