@allix2456: I would not consider a shop "decent" who sells everything 20% more expensive to unexperienced buyers/cyclists, and only for a competitive price to those who know how much the stuff would cost elsewhere.
A good shop should know for which price they want to sell their goods.

@elefantenvogel: Using an ebike is is lowering the hurdle to get into the sport if fitness is limited.
So even if you are fat/lazy it may make sense to get an ebike just to participate - ebikes are not self driving, they mostly still require some activity of the driver in contrast to motor bikes. Mountainbiking can put people off who are physically less suited.
When doing the sport for some time with such an helper they may even discover that its more agile/fun without motor, so why not start with an ebike?

KTM Strada 3000 55cm
$1 GBPKTM Strada 3000. Has been stolen in Cambridge July 27th.
I saw a it was offered at Gumtree, but the seller was not reachable via phone.
Police does not help retrieving IP address of this guy, so I hope one of you guys finds it, in the internet or in London.
The Frame number is: GC98042106
It had mainly a Shimano Ultegra drive train (like manufactured by KTM).
Front tyre was an orange Schwalbe GP (4000?), and a modified Fizik saddle everything else was unchanged. As these might be changed easily, any KTM Strada in this color is interesting. I think it this mode has never been sold in the UK.
The picture shows a tria handlebar, which was not equipped when stolen.
