@Blownoutrides: If your trails are looking like WC DH tracks and your average speed equals that of pro riders, then the optimal weight is "maybe" 40-45.
If your trails and speeds are different then the optimal weight probably will be different. Horses for courses. More weight, more body english for directional changes, more muscles required.
