Pinkbike Poll – Electronic Components on Your Mountain Bike?
There's a joke in there somewhere about O2 having no signal... :P

Pinkbike Poll – Electronic Components on Your Mountain Bike?
I demoed a mountain bike with Di2 a couple of months ago. It is hands down the best shifting experience I've had. Do I want it? Hell yes. What's stopping me? The cost. It's still considerably more expensive than traditional shifters. I think as part of a new bike I will probably go for it, but as an upgrade to my old steed, I'll give it a miss unless it comes down a lot in price.

Pinkbike Poll - How Many Days Did You Ride in 2016?
A massive twenty five rides, totalling 365 miles. Not sure why, but this year I really seemed to lack the motivation to go out and ride much...especially compared to previous years when, at my peak, I think I was doing 3-4 rides a week.

There is at 2:20 (it's very subtle!), but I didn't put more in as my drone is awful with low light shots. :(

@EyeJump: I haven't ridden up there for a few months now so not sure what it's like now, but in previous years, the red has always been super sketchy in summer. Dunno about the trail building thing...the guy that organises it, Harry, always welcomes any new people along so not sure what your mate is on about!

The stones can't really be helped, it's the natural terrain of Cannock Chase and it'll never be rocky hardpack stuff like, say, Wales. It's a lot better in damp conditions, it's just been pretty dry lately which doesn't help. The trails do get pretty overgrown which is a downside, but they're much better in winter. Not sure what you mean about people being turned away...I was at the last build day and barely anyone turned up!
