Bird Aeris AM9 150mm ML

$550 GBP
Bird Aeris AM9 frame in raw with rockshox deluxe shock, brand x 170 dropper and spares. Selling my bird frame, which is in good working order having got a new bike. I’ve had this since 2020, and it’s a great frame- goes well in both bike parks and all day xc rides. There’s inevitable wear and tear/cable rub which I’ve tried to show, but otherwise good condition. As it’s the raw frame, you can clean it up with a Brillo pad. Included is the shock it came with, along with a 170x31.6 brand x dropper, headset, seat clamp, mech hanger, spare cable clamps and a spare rear pivot bolt. Collection from Bristol welcome, or delivery will be £15 within mainland uk with parcel force.

NS Eccentric Frame - Medium

$80 GBP
Used NS eccentric frame in a medium size. I’ve had this frame since 2018 and it’s been absolutely great. It’s been to the alps, done 24h xc races and everything in between - a proper do it all bike. It’s been sitting in my loft for the last couple of years since I switched to 29 (and the newer eccentric), so now has to go. The paint is a bit tatty in places which I’ve tried to show, but it’s otherwise in good condition. They’re in the pictures, but to reassure the sale includes headset, and the rear axle and mech hanger. Collection preferred but posting possible at buyers expense. Link to the NS website for the frame: http://www.nsbikes.com/2015/eccentric-cromo,1168,pl.htm

160mm X Fusion Slant

$120 GBP
X Fusion Slant 650b forks with lovely gold stanchions (because kashima is too mainstream). 160mm (air) travel (internally adjustable at 20 mm increments - originally bought these set at 140mm) RL damper 15x100 mm axle 195mm tapered steerer with star nut installed These are a used but well maintained set of forks. There are some minor marks to the stantions that don't effect function (pictured). There's cable rub and plenty of marks to lowers. I've had the forks for 2 years and have changed the lower leg oil every 6 months and damper oil every year. I changed the main lower seals last summer. Will dispatch via Hermes for an additional cost of £8 or happy for collection from Bristol. Any questions please get in touch.

Those knobs are arranged in an exceedingly pleasing geometric pattern.

Flat Pedal Foot Placement For Best Results
Oh, and in response to your reply Sino428, I'll concede I was thinking predominantly in terms of balance, this may well be correct for power, and therefore pedalling, but in instances where balance is more important than power, it strikes me that the rider is set to loose more in flexibility around the ankles, than they stand to gain from a more midsole stance. Upon re reading the article I notice that he isn't advocating a 'one size fits all' foot position, which I first thought, and which most of my argument was based on, rendering it somewhat irrelevant, and serves me right for getting on my high horse and commenting without checking my facts.

Flat Pedal Foot Placement For Best Results
Horse riding's developed as a skill, (for lack of a better word, only recently has it predominantly become a sport), and in that time the consensus has very much become ball of foot on stirrup, heel down. Similar activity, trying to stay balanced in the same spot. You're also forgetting that your hands are holding the bars, unlike in deadlift and sqaut where your purely using your legs to balance, which will make a huge difference. Furthermore if you ride on your midsole you more or less eliminate any flex in your ankle contributing to shock absorbtion through your leg. I'd say you're trying a bit too much to apply gyming to biking but that's just my opinion.
