First Ride: Canyon Lux Trail - Light, Slack, and Ready For Long Rides
Holes at the sides of the head tube like this one seem to produce the cleanest cable routing in my experience. Yetis use to have this, but moved away from it in the latest generation of bikes. It allows for slightly short cables which still allow the bar to rotate 180 in each direction.

Review: Berd Hawk 30 Gold Wheels – Ultra-Light and Subtly Forgiving
The titanium ratchet is a work of art. Here's a better pic showing the ratchet teeth on the freehub.

Review: Berd Hawk 30 Gold Wheels – Ultra-Light and Subtly Forgiving
The ride feel is what sold me on berd spokes some years ago. I installed them on my bike one afternoon and rode off to the trail down the street from my house. 5 minutes into the ride I had to stop to feel my tires to make sure they weren't low. They were not since I had just aired them up. I built up a very similar set to these golds about a year and half ago ago with Duke hubs and light bicycle rims. Duke and Erase are in-Laws of some sort being they use the same titanium freehub. I'm 200#'s and haven't trued them once since initially building them.
The other thing to mention is the ability to add bling to the spokes via alcohol ink. I recently did a set with just silver ink and the spokes look awesome. Like small steel cables.

Opinion: Handlebar Width is the Most Overlooked Element of Mountain Bike Fit
I've tried wider bars and find it adds strain to my wrists. When the hands go further apart the wrists have to tilt in causing tension in the wrists. The amount of bar sweep probably plays into this as well.

Tech Randoms: La Thuile XC World Cup 2026
I've noticed that when people have issues with Magura it always comes back to installation. Or the rider crashed. I've logged plenty of time on Maguras and the have been great.

Bike Check: Simon Andreassen's Customized Orbea Oiz
@VtVolk: I sure hope so. I'm one of the few who like a steeper headangle to get through tight corners quicker.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Care What Your Bike Looks Like?
My bike probably offends most people, but I love it and that's all that matters. https://ep1.pinkbike.org/p5pb29923118/p5pb29923118.jpg
