Pinkbike Poll: What Field Test Bike Do You Want to Try?
Try for a day? In that case, I'll treat it like a date and pick an exotic one. The ones that I'd least likely will get a demo on. Changed my answer from the one I actually want to keep around for a while, to the Pole, just to verify if the creator's onto something or if it's just marketing hype/BS.

Not sure what his personal bike was before, but he liked the Process 111 and Ripley.
I got the impression that it's a theme on this site, from the history of articles I've read, that Mike Levy likes short travel options (and bikes that don't need susp mode switches). I believe he's the one who named "downcountry", as a term for a capable XC bike.

2019 Pinkbike Awards: Suspension Product of the Year
It's a terrible feeling to have a great power taken away from you, one that you used in earnest to progress to greater challenges/heights.
What you guys are doing is akin to saying, I was born blind, stop being so dramatic about suddenly going blind. Just stop trying to live like you had sight, and adopt a routine where even basic things are challenges.

1230mm-ish wheelbase...
That and the amount of weight on the rear affected how much power you can put out. You tend to get adjusted to it and finesse the bike to adapt... in this case, it just happened to be whatever Mike Levy was used to, rather than his ability to adapt to the bikes. He called it, that he felt most attuned with the Top Fuel, despite being most exhausted by the time he got to it.

Video: Friday Fails #98
Too much weight on the front of the bike: HA too steep, CS too long, poor rider position, and/or braking (fork dive)...
