@JonDud: anything you can ever use a box wrench on, anything with a set of flats the parallel pliers work for. I have used them on fork top caps, axle nuts, pivot hardware, brakelines, and more i am sure. they don't mar the finish like normal pliers. Some guys even machine a set thin enough to use as cone wrenches on cup and cone hubs.
